Kudremukh Peak trek requires a forest permit booked in advance. Daily entries are limited — book 2–3 days ahead on weekends at kudremukhanationalpark.in.
👟
Footwear
Wear proper trekking shoes with good grip. Trails become slippery after rain. Sandals are not permitted inside the national park.
💵
Carry Cash
Most attractions and roadside eateries are cash-only. The nearest ATM is in Kalasa, 15 km away. We recommend carrying enough for the full day.
🚫
No Plastics
Single-use plastic is banned inside Kudremukh National Park. Carry a reusable bottle — we’ll refill it for you at the resort before you leave.
📶
No Signal Zones
Mobile networks are patchy inside the park. Download offline maps before heading out. Our front desk can print trail maps on request.

Jungle Prep
Apply insect repellent before any trail walk. Leeches are common June–Oct — tuck your socks over your pants and carry salt as a precaution.
